About this event

Career Opportunities for PostDoctoral Researchers in Life Sciences aims to bring together postdoctoral researchers from across Portugal.
The goal of this initiative is to nurture and promote the unique career brand of PhD holders, by encouraging them to network inside and outside academia. This inaugural event will host a Job Fair, open to the public, that aims to promote new career prospects and opportunities for PhD holders. We have invited people from key industries and companies to showcase their mission and values, and provide PhD holders the opportunity to apply for jobs. Additionally, we will host several workshops to showcase alternative career options that exist away from the lab.

The Job Fair will be preceded by a Scientific Symposium which aims to promote networking, exchange of ideas and collaborations between post-docs from the organizing institutions. The Symposium will take place on the 22nd of November.
